Lincoln Township Fire Station

Special Notice:
The number for burn permits is:
1-866-922-2876
This is the toll free state wide system for burning permits.

The Fire Chief used the number last week to acquire a permit and it went well.  People will provide their address, township, county and what material they are burning.  That information is transferred directly to the County Sheriffs Department.  Reminder:  Just because you have a burn permit does not exempt you from a ticket or liability should your fire get out of control!!  Be careful!!  The Fire Chief encourages everyone to utilize the compost field for their yard waste rather than burning.  However, if you must burn, please acquire your permit and be respectful of your neighbors.  Each year complaints are received because of the smoke off of burn piles offending the neighbors.
